Martha Jones fifth grade Girl Scout Troop 62277 recently delivered handmade suncatchers to the Westwood Council on Aging. The suncatchers and handwritten notes were delivered to the Council's Meals on Wheels recipients. The project was part of the troop's year-long collaboration with the Westwood Council on Aging to deliver handmade gifts and cards to Westwood's homebound seniors during the pandemic. Director Lina Arena-DeRosa was there to greet the girls and thank them for all their efforts this year. Because they planned this "take action" project to help others, the 24 girls in the troop have earned their Agent of Change Journey Award.
