Needham High School Fall I varsity athletics continued on this past week as the Rockets battled rival Natick.

  • Boys soccer earned a pair of wins against rival Natick. The Rockets won 3-2 on the road on October 21, followed by a dominant 5-1 victory on Friday behind a hat trick by Daniel Faynstein. Gerard Costa and Marcus Trabucco also potted home goals in the winning effort on Friday.

  • Girls soccer earned a 1-1 draw with Natick on October 22. Maddy Ledbury scored Needham's goal on a penalty kick while Cora Wainwright recorded 15 saves.

  • Kyler McNatt led boys cross-country to a 26-29 victory against Natick on October 21. Girls cross-country fell, 43-16.

  • Varsity field hockey earned a 2-2 tie with Natick on October 21 behind goals by Grace Kelley and Kenzie Kelley.
