It was a long six months and change, but organized high school athletics finally returned to Dover-Sherborn this past week as Fall I sports held their first tryouts and workout sessions.

Fall I sports such as field hockey, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls cross-country all held workouts and tryouts on the turf at Nora Searle Field on Saturday with all athletes keeping a social distance and wearing a mask.

The day before, DS varsity golf teed off its first practice round of the season at Sassamon Trace in Natick.

Competition against other TVL schools in Dover-Sherborn's pod is expected to begin this upcoming week. Fans and media will not be allowed to attend matches or practices until further notice in order to abide by the school's COVID guidelines.
