Needham's Recycling and Transfer Station will host a paint collection day on Saturday, July 18. From 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., residents with a transfer station disposal sticker can drop off unwanted paints to be safely disposed of at the Needham Recycling and Transfer Station. All paint must be in the original container with a label identification. The Recycling and Transfer Station will accept oil/alkyd paints, latex paints, paint thinners, stains, varnishes, polyurethane, lacquers, enamels, linseed oil, and turpentine.
No wood preservatives, creosote, wood bleach, pesticide, ISO cyanates, or other non-paint related preservatives will be accepted.
