Medfield’s Kong in ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Isabella (Bella) Kong, 10, of Medfield, will be performing in Wheelock Family Theatre's production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," taking on the role of a narrator and a member of the village. The show will open on February 2, 2018 at the Wheelock Family theatre, with performances through March 4, 2018. Bella is very excited to be making her professional theater debut at Wheelock, which is one of greater Boston's premier theatre companies for producing shows for children and families.

Currently, Kong is a fourth grader at the Dale Street School in Medfield. Aside from acting, Bella is also an accomplished pianist. She was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in March of this year as a winner of the American Fine Arts Festival. She also received Honorable Mention at the 2017 Bay State Piano Competition held by the Massachusetts Music Teacher Association. In addition to acting and playing the piano, Bella also enjoys singing, dancing, and fencing.
