The Utility Contractors’ Association of New England recently presented twelve $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors who achieved high personal goals, scholastically and within their community and civic, religious and volunteer organizations.
Rose Kearns, daughter of Bill and Elizabeth Kearns of Westwood, accepted the award at a dinner held in her honor in Norwood.
Guest speaker, New England patriots center, David Andrews, assisted in the presentation.
Rose will attend Catholic University in the fall.
