Troop 44 skis at Cranmore

Boy Scout Troop 44 went on a ski trip to Cranmore Mountain this past February. Everyone had a fantastic time skiing on a variety of trails for all abilities. One scout put it simply and said: “It was a great mountain with great snow.”

Troop 44 has run this ski trip annually for the past four years, and each year it is nothing but smiling faces and good times. This is a three day, two night trip, and the scouts stay in a lodge mere feet from the slopes. “Staying in the lodge was one of my favorite parts,” one scout claimed.

Those interested in becoming a Boy Scout and attending fun and exciting trips like this one may contact Troop 44 at or attend their weekly meetings at the VFW hall on Robbins Road, Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
