Homegrown Coffeehouse hosting Gypsy Jazz evening

The Homegrown Coffeehouse is set to host An Evening of Gypsy Jazz and the music of Django Reinhardt, featuring the jazz quartet 440, led by Tomoko Iwamoto, this Saturday, February 22, at 8:00 p.m.

440 expands the gypsy jazz tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with abidance swing standards from the era of Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Benny Goodman, as well as originals by the band.

The Homegrown Coffeehouse is located at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, at the corner of Great Plain and Dedham Avenue in Needham center. There is free parking and full handicapped accessibility. Admission is $18, $15 for students and seniors, to benefit the Church.
