Dover Days coming September 8

Dover Days on the Town Green has been planned for Saturday, September 8, from 9-4 p.m. The Dover PTO has been hard at work preparing a fun day for all, with plenty of games and great prizes.

Attendees will enjoy old favorites: Wheel of Fortune, Lolli Tree, Plinko and more, along with new additions such as Marble Grab and Sponge Squeeze. Players earn tokens for each game, which can be cashed in for fabulous prizes.

The PTO is also excited to bring back last year's big hit: The Water Bucket Challenge. Participants will soak parents, friends, and some of Dover's favorite town celebrities - or for extra special fun, they may take the Bucket Challenge or select their own willing victim.

Game tickets will be sold at the Dover PTO booth for $1 apiece, or $20 for 25 tickets, including a bonus token cup.

The PTO needs outstanding volunteers to make this event a success; those who can spare any time to help are encouraged to do so. This volunteer opportunity qualifies for community service hours for Dover Sherborn high schoolers. All volunteers are needed, most especially those willing to take it to the next level under the Water Bucket Challenge.

To volunteer in any way, contact Dawn Sung at cofundraising@doverpto.org.
