The Westwood High class of 2016 hosted its annual Senior Prom Fashion Show on March 18 at Westwood High.

Over 60 students took to the catwalk decked out in the latest in prom fashion at the show, with between 350-400 students attending overall.

In addition to the main event, students also performed skits for the crowd of Westwood High students. From skits set to the Old Peggy song “Big Spender,” to a reenactment of the opening theme to Friends, the event provided tons of entertainment from the graduating class of Westwood High.

Although the fashion show was a smaller affair than usual, many students still enjoyed both modeling and attending the annual event, according to Linda Healey, who helped organize the event.

“It didn’t take in as much as usual because it is a smaller senior class,” Healey said. “But I think the students did an exceptional job.”

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Westwood High All Night Graduation Party. The annual celebration takes place on the night of graduation, and offers students from the graduating class a fun and safe all-night event to celebrate.

“It’s a key part of keeping seniors off of the streets after graduation,” Healey said.

This year’s Senior Prom Fashion Show was supported by several local businesses, including Roche Bros., Costco, David’s Bridal in Natick, Angela’s Bridal, Men’s Warehouse, Read and White, and Simon and Sons.
