Registered Democrats in Westwood will hold a caucus at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10 in the Community Room at 50 Carby Street to elect delegates and alternates to the 2018 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.

This year’s state convention will be held June 1-2 at the DCU Center in Worcester, where thousands of Democrats from across the state will come together to endorse Democratic candidates for statewide office, including Constitutional officers and gubernatorial candidates for the November 2018 elections.

The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Westwood. Pre-registered Democrats who will be 18 by September 18, 2018 will be allowed to participate and run as a delegate or alternate. Westwood can elect eight delegates and four alternates to the convention. To update one’s voter registration party to Democrat, visit https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals who are not elected as a delegate or alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org.
