A Westwood Boy Scout is hosting a car wash fundraiser for his Eagle Scout project.
Cameron Doherty will be hosting a car wash on July 9 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Westwood Senior Center on Nahatan Street to raise funds for his Eagle Scout project.
For his project, Doherty will make improvements to the cemetery located at the intersection of Nahatan and Pond Streets.
Doherty will use the funds he raises through the car wash to purchase new street signs for the cemetery, which will both reflect the time period of the grounds, and will help family members to locate markets and burial sites of their loved ones.
