The Westwood Prodigy Music Lesson Program will be hosting an open house at Westwood High School on Wednesday, June 6.
The event will run from 5:00-7:30 p.m., and will feature a number of student performances, a band and string instrument "petting zoo,” instrument rentals, tours of the recently updated WHS music practice facilities, a meet-and-greet with current faculty, and music lesson registration for new students.
Part of the Westwood Public Schools Performing Arts Department, the Prodigy Program offers music lessons on a variety of instruments to students entering grades 2-12. The program is also available to adult members of the community.
Current instruments offered include violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, drums/percussion, piano and voice.
