Despite a rainy Saturday, Westwood's Chris McKeown and tandem partner Todd Balf completed the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). Their work, however, is not yet complete, as PMC fundraising continues until the end of September.
Making their endeavor even more potent: the Chordoma Foundation (CF) has agreed to match their donations. Between the PMC team and CF, McKeown and Balf expect to raise $500K-$600K for the Kadoch Lab at DFCI (www.kadochlag.org). Kadoch Lab focuses on chordoma and other rare cancers.
The team is well on its way to its $300K goal, and the Chordoma Foundation continues to raise funds for their match. Members of the community wishing to donate to the cause may do so by sending checks payable to "PMC - Jimmy Fund" to the McKeown Family, 70 Lorraine Road, Westwood, MA 02090. Alternatively, members of the community may donate at https://egifts.pmc.org/CM0007.
