On Sunday, July 16, seven students and five seniors met at Powisset Farm for a cooking adventure. Underwritten by the Foundation for Westwood Education, the event’s theme was “Fresh from the Farm … Summer Abundance.”
Both students and seniors enjoyed using fresh farm ingredients to create a frittata (using farm-fresh eggs and herbs), muffins (using farm-fresh eggs and zucchini), a large salad (using farm-fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce) with herb dressing (using farm-fresh herbs), and brownies (using farm-fresh beets) for dessert.
