Preparations for the traditional Holly Fair are well under way at the First Baptist Church of Westwood. The fair will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall on Saturday, December 7, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Tables will offer baked goods and other food items, Christmas crafts and decorations, knitted and crocheted items, other items created by members of the congregation, gently worn costume jewelry, the ever-popular attic treasures, and a silent auction. In addition, several vendors and local organizations will be offering items including handmade greeting cards, jewelry, scarves, lotions and lip balm. Coffee and donuts will be available for purchase in the morning, and a hot luncheon will be available at noon.
The Holly Fair is one of the events included in the Westwood Weekend Stroll, taking place on December 6-8. First Baptist Church is located at 808 High Street, Westwood. There are parking lots both in front of and behind the church, and the buildings are handicapped accessible.
