A group from the First Baptist Church (FBC) of Westwood has recently returned from a week spent at the Kodiak Baptist Mission on Kodiak Island, AK. The mission serves a community where there is significant need due to both poverty and the remoteness of the island. The team worked with children and adults, did maintenance on the property, taught music and gymnastics and Bible lessons, and even witnessed the birth of baby goats.
