WOW launches Indigenous Peoples Challenge

On Thursday, October 1, World of Wellesley launched its 30 Day+ Racial Equity Indigenous Peoples Challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to break down barriers and biases by collectively and individually increasing our awareness and appreciation for the diversity of Indigenous people; deepening our understanding about the history of Indigenous people; and deepen our understanding about the current issues faced by Indigenous people in North America.

Members of the community may participate by visiting www.tiny.cc/WOW30day and registering. Participants will receive an email with three ways to access content (reading, watching or listening). They will then select one of the three daily options (or more, if they'd like), privately record their thoughts in a journal, and consider sharing reflections with the community.

Questions should be directed to Christina Horner at chorner@worldofwellesley.org.
