Wellesley Society of Artists presented Mini Art in Bloom with the Wellesley Garden Club and members of the House and Garden Club of Wellesley on Sunday, May 1, at the Wellesley Community Center.
A magnificent array of paintings by the Society of Artists were available for floral interpretations by the two clubs. This event is presented annually to the Wellesley community and was once again a success due to the attendance and appreciation by the town residents.
This year's floral arrangers included Roz Augustin, Helga Berglund, Reginia Bibb, Cindy Jaczko, Marie Fasolino, Heidi Kost Gross, Margie Magowan, Anne Manners and Burkey Pratt. Some arrangers, inspired by the many wonderful paintings to work with, even did more than one floral arrangement.
The Garden Club wished to thank Roz Augustin for also doing the floral centerpiece on the refreshment table, and also Mary Kay Heath and Teresa Ettinger for their valuable assistance with the event.
