The Wellesley Food Pantry recently participated in this year’s Ride for Food. This year’s riders, who represented the largest number of WFP members to participate in a Ride for Food, had a beautiful day for the 10, 25 and 50-mile rides. Donations have topped $14,500, which is slightly behind last year's intake of about $19,000.
WFP relies on this fundraiser as its largest financial contribution of the year, enabling the pantry to buy more fresh foods and a wider variety of healthy options for its clients.
