Charles River Center holding road race

The Charles River Center will hold its 7th Annual 5K Run/1-Mile Walk on Sunday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m. This USA Track and Field-certified course loops through the scenic backroads of Needham and Wellesley, beginning and ending at the Charles River Center, 59 East Militia Heights Drive, Needham.

All abilities are welcome, and the first 300 entries will receive free tee-shirts. Participants and supporters are invited back to the Charles River Center for food, drinks, and a festive celebration after the run.

More than 600 attendees are expected to participate. Proceeds will benefit over 950 children and adults with developmental disabilities served by the Charles River Center.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the race will begin at 11 a.m. Registration before September 23 is $33.25 for runners, $28 for walkers, and $17.50 for youth under 12. Saturday and same-day registration is $35 for runners, $30 for walkers, and $20 for youth. To register, visit: www.CharlesRiverCenterRoadRace.com.
