Walpole Media Corporation has chosen to assist in covering some of the costs associated with the new Walpole Council on Aging facility, as part of their continued outreach to the senior community of Walpole.
The planned construction of the new Walpole Council on Aging (COA) facility presents an opportunity for Walpole Media to ensure that the infrastructure of the new building will be able to support new state-of-the-art TV production in the general use room that will benefit not just seniors, but the entire community of Walpole.
Walpole Media’s commitment will come in two stages. The first stage will cover infrastructure for the facility such as installing the wiring for TV cameras, lighting and audio plus live broadcast feeds. The second stage will include the purchase of new TV production equipment.
“This check for $98,750 represents Walpole Media’s commitment to ensuring that all residents of Walpole have the finest multi media video production resources available,” said Jim D’Attilio, President of the Walpole Media Board of Directors. “Walpole Media will be able to record and broadcast live community events with a studio audience from the new COA facility’s general use room … our TV studio located at Walpole High School is too small for larger community events”
Construction of the new building is scheduled to break ground the fall of 2017 and be completed by early 2019.
