During June weekends, starting Friday, June 12, the town of Walpole will be running a pilot program to create more open space in Walpole Center. Elm Street and Front Street will be closed off between 6 p.m. on Fridays until 8:00 pm. on Sundays.
The hope is to create more spaces for the community to enjoy, as well as encourage more business for Main Street stores and restaurants. Those who are hoping to grab a bite to eat outside are welcome to use the provided tables placed by the Recreation Department.
