“The Recreation Department is proud to join with many local businesses and organizations to host Walpole Day for the ninth year in a row, a day for residents and families to join together downtown to celebrate the unique spirit and culture of this great town,” said Patrick Shield, Walpole’s Recreation Director. “With the addition of new elements and features, this year promises to be like no Walpole Day this town has ever seen before, with a number of activities that appeal to every member of the family.”
“We’ve worked hard as a department to make sure this year’s Walpole Day blended together a mix of past elements that the community has enjoyed with new activities to keep people excited about this annual tradition of celebrating all things Walpole,” said Program Coordinator Arielle Carney. “We went an entirely new route with determining our Parade Grand Marshal this year, we have a life-size inflatable Hungry, Hungry, Hippos game for kids and an awesome Bubble Soccer arena that will definitely provide endless entertainment. It’s going to be an amazing day.”
