New Life Furniture Bank of Massachusetts is hosting Stuff-A-Truck. On Wednesday, July 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. and Thursday, July 9, from 5 to 7 p.m., people can bring household goods to donate.
New Life will accept drinking glasses, dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, coffee pots, bakeware, sheets, comforters, blankets, and towels.
In order to maintain a contactless donation and prevent the spread of COVID-19, individuals are asked to put items in a box labeled "New Life" in either the trunk or backseat of their car. Donations can be brought to the Elm Street parking lot, opposite the commuter rail station lot in Walpole.
Volunteers will be at the Elm Street location to confirm that the items fit the donation requirements, and obtain your name and email for contact tracing. They will then take the items out of the vehicle. Those dropping off items are asked to stay in their car and wear a mask during the process.
