New Life announces reopening

New Life Furniture Bank of Massachusetts has officially reopened following its months-long closure due to the pandemic.

New Life is currently accepting donations, though only through appointment. Those interested in dropping off items, including furniture and household items, can schedule an appointment here. Drop-off appointments are available on Saturdays between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Those dropping off via appointment should have donation items clearly marked in the back of their vehicles and should have a mask on during the drop-off process. A volunteer will check that visitors have an appointment. Those without appointments will not be allowed to donate items that day. Volunteers will direct visitors to a specific spot so that volunteers can unload the donations. A receipt will be emailed after the appointment.

New Life has also resumed its furniture pick-up service in Medfield, Walpole, Norfolk, and Norwood. Pick-up appointments can be scheduled here. Due to COVID-19, the only items eligible for pickup are furniture and household items stored in garages or curbside.

Information about accepted items can be found here.
