Throughout the Halloween season, Epiphany Parish of Walpole (“the little gray church on the common”) will once again be selling pumpkins, gourds, mums and cornstalks. This annual sale, first held in 2006, has become a favorite fall event for many area families searching for that perfect Halloween pumpkin. This year, as always, the Epiphany Pumpkin Patch will have a huge variety of sizes, shapes and prices of pumpkins, including a large selection of miniature pumpkins and gourds.
The Epiphany Pumpkin Patch, located at 62 Front Street, Walpole, will be open beginning September 30, 2017 through October 31, 2017. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This year’s patch will feature several special events, including a Pumpkin Patch Movie Night beginning at 6:30 p.m. on October 28, weekly pumpkin raffles, and baked goods for sale on weekends. In addition, Epiphany pumpkins will be for sale at the Jarvis Harvest event taking place at Jarvis Farm in Walpole on Saturday, October 14. All customers who purchase Epiphany pumpkins will be eligible to enter a nationwide Great Carving Contest with a chance to win $10,000.
Proceeds from the sale of pumpkins will benefit Epiphany Parish of Walpole and the Navajo Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico, where the pumpkins are grown.
