Last week, sharp-eyed Wellesley residents could have been forgiven for mistaking their home for Tinseltown.
A crew for Paramount Pictures descended upon the town from Monday through Wednesday to film segments of “Daddy’s Home 2,” a comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, leaving parts of Washington Street occupied by production staffers and equipment.
A source told Hometown Weekly that the crew was filming a “winter wonderland” scene at EA Davis & Co in Wellesley Square.
“Daddy’s Home 2” is slated for release on November 10 of this year.
