The Westwood High School boys varsity hockey team is off and rolling in 2017-2018, as the Wolverines exit their holiday break with a record of 5-2-1 and currently sport a five-game winning streak.
During the streak, the Wolverines took down Division I foe Needham (2-1) to clinch the Canton Ice House Tournament over their holiday break.
Leading the team offensively have been Shane Cronin, Brian Reissfelder and Conor Donohue. Cronin has notched six goals and three assists for a team-high nine points, while Reissfelder and Donohue each have eight points. Justin Anderson has been outstanding in net for the Wolverines and currently sports a TVL-best three shutouts.
At the time of print, the Wolverines will take to the ice against TVL rival Medfield on January 10 before hosting Norton on January 13.
