The 6th grade DSW Patriots opened their 2016 season Sunday morning with a 13-7 victory in a defensive struggle against Lincoln-Sudbury. Michael Polk led the way with two touchdown runs against a stout LS defense, including a 70 yard sprint down the home sideline to take back the lead for good. Danny Sullivan converted on the PAT with a run to secure the win. On the defensive side, timely interceptions by DSW stopped LS drives to maintain the lead. The Patriots’ next play Holliston on Sunday at 9 a.m. on the Dover Sherborn High School turf field.
