The Wellesley High softball team faced off against Walpole on May 9, and picked up a 6-4 win.
With the game tied at 4-4 by the end of the seventh inning, the game went into extra innings. Wellesley picked up two runs to secure the win in the ninth inning.
The Raiders were led offensively by senior Olivia Hunter, who pitched for all nine innings and picked up 3 runs for the Raiders.
The Raiders have been having a challenging season so far, as the team currently stands at a 4-6 record.
