The Needham American U10 Williamsport team had a great run this year. The boys put in a tremendous effort winning District 11 and then competed for four nights in a row in the Sectional round, with each game being decided by one run late in the game. They won two of the first three in that round to make it to the Sectional finals, being among the final eight teams remaining in the state, but fell short in a 5-4 loss to Brookline.
