Medfield High School had several athletes honored this past week for their achievements throughout the recently-concluded Fall I athletic season in the Tri-Valley League.
- Jake Kraemer was named Medfield High School boys soccer's offensive player of the year as well as a TVL All-Star after leading the Warriors to a perfect 10-0-0 record.
- James Layden was named Team MVP, TVL MVP, an Eastern Mass All-Star, TVL All-Star and was selected to the All-State team.
- With high school football pushed back to the spring due to COVID-19, the annual Thanksgiving rivalry game between Dover-Sherborn and Medfield did not take place for the first time since 1965. Medfield currently leads the all-time series 28-21-4 and won the previous meeting in 2019 by a score of 34-14. The two teams will hopefully get a chance to write the next chapter in their rivalry this upcoming spring.
