The first quarter was was marked by intense back-and-forth play, with both teams seeking control. Junior Genna McDonald capitalized on scoring attempts, which came off a well-placed assist from Maeve Kelly, putting the Warriors ahead 1-0. Dover-Sherborn Sophomore Sophia Wichman kept sweeping the ball away from Medfield players, Sophomore goalie Neve McMakin was a wall in net for DS as well making diving saves to keep them alive.

Her quick reaction and positioning in front of the goal ensured that Medfield maintained control as the game progressed. Dover-Sherborn utilized a powerful offense but Medfield was able to keep them back.

The final quarter saw Dover-Sherborn given shots on goal and a few corner penalties to try and get on the board, but Medfield goalie Kamryn Perachi stood strong and impassable. Medfield played a balanced game, showing control of the ball on both ends.

On the defensive side, Adeline Keaveney, Emily Fratolillo and Maeve Kelly worked tirelessly in the back field, stepping to the ball and clearing it out of Medfield’s defensive zone. Goalkeeper Kamryn Perachi also delivered a standout performance, securing a shutout to seal the victory.
