The Dover-Sherborn boys’ basketball team had a terrific regular season, going 14-6 and pushing TVL opponents to their limits night in and night out.
Returning to the Division 3 Central State Tournament once again, coach Rick Grady and his players were eager to prove that they could compete with any team in the sectional.
In the first round the Raiders faced Nipmuc and came away with a 54-41 win as sophomore Dante Eldridge led the way with 20 points.
Then, on Thursday, March 3, the Raiders faced off against Littleton before a packed gymnasium. Littleton was too much for Dover-Sherborn, as the Raiders fell 56-35.
The loss concludes a season in which the Raiders worked hard and came to play every night and each player can say they played their best this season and had success.
The Raiders will lose six seniors to graduation this year: Connor Lancaster, Connor Boyle, Will Spangenberg, Brendan Olski, Ed Alyea and Tyler Mann.
