The 2020-2021 MIAA winter athletic season brought about an unprecedented and seemingly never-ending set of challenges for all athletes, coaches, parents and fans. The uncertainty of whether each game would end up being played, along with rule changes to prevent the spread of COVID, certainly took their toll.
Despite all of the constant adversity and uncertainty, Dover-Sherborn Regional High School boys and girls varsity basketball went above and beyond throughout the last several months. This past week, many of these athletes were honored with postseason awards following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.
For varsity boys basketball, senior guard Evan Skeary, sophomore guard Luke Rinaldi and senior forward Nick Rinaldi were all named TVL All-Stars after leading the Raiders to a 9-2 (8-2 TVL) record. Also receiving recognition was senior guard Ben Teich, who took home TVL Honarable Mention.
As for the girls, sophomore guard Hana Skeary, senior forward Kate Mastrobuono and senior forward Sabrina Ryan were all named TVL All-Stars after helping the Raiders to a 6-5 record. Freshman guard Erica Hills was also named TVL Honorable Mention.
