Dover-Sherborn Regional High School announced its set of athletic award winners this past week for the 2019-2020 school/athletic year. The school athletic director Emily Sullivan made the announcement on the DS athletics Twitter account.
As the starting quarterback and a co-captain for football, a guard and co-captain for the basketball team, and the starting shortstop and a co-captain in baseball, Kirby Ryan was the slam-dunk pick for Male Raider Athlete of the Year.
Ryan will attend Clemson University in the fall.
A dominant force and a captain for both indoor and outdoor track for DS, Tatum Evans was named Female Raider Athlete of the Year. Evans' coach Maura Bennett congratulated her on social media.
Oliver Fried, also an indoor and outdoor track captain, won the DS Male Student-Athlete Award.
Sarah Lamson, a senior co-captain of the Division II state championship-winning field hockey team, took home the DS Female Student Athlete Award.
