Dover-Sherborn Regional High School junior and swimmer Ava Yablonsky was recently named an All-American for her performance in the pool last season by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association.
Prior to being dubbed an All-American by NISCA, Yablonski was also named All-Scholastic by both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. Yablonski took home TVL MVP honors last season as a sophomore and won both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the Division II All-State meet. She tied the meet record (23.63) in the 50-freestyle at the South Sectional meet.
On September 1, Yablonsky was finally awarded with her All-American plaque at her home. Dover-Sherborn athletic director Emily Sullivan shared the news on the DS Athletics Twitter account.
