The FIRST Lego League Team Robo PlatyPi qualified for the Robotics State Championships, taking place on December 16.
The six 5th graders from Broadmeadow and Eliot Elementary Schools spent the last 14 weeks engineering a robot and writing code to complete multiple missions in addition to researching water usage issues, developing a solution, and presenting their ideas to a panel of judges.

The many team supporters included the Needham High School Robotics Club, who provided a tour of the DaVinci Workshop, mentor Shaashwat Sharma, a practice field, and an audience for presentation feedback.
