The Needham Historical Society brought back the sprit of the 1920s and the Prohibition era with its Speakeasy fundraiser, held on Feb. 6.

Residents joined in the fun by dressing the part and enjoying the table games, roulette and black jack, for a night that was reminiscent of the period of back room bars, hidden casinos, and gangsters.

According to the Historical Society, the night was a great success.

It expressed its thanks to event sponsors Needham Bank and Center 128, as well as all of the people, businesses, and organizations that helped make the event possible, including Needham Wine and Spirits, which provided the cocktails.
