Ryan Warner an Eagle Scout

The Manson H. Carter Post 2498, which is the Charter Organization for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 13, Needham, presented a the Eagle Scout Citation to Ryan Matthew Warner, who was award his Eagle Scout Rank at a Court of Honor ceremony held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post banquet facility on August 13.

State Representative Denise Garlick, a mother of two Eagle scouts, also delivered an official state proclamation to the new Eagle Scout.

William Topham, the State VFW Troop Charter Representative, a former Marine, presented Ryan with the citation signed by the Commander of the State of Massachusetts Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eric Segundo. Tom Keating, VFW Post Chaplain and Vietnam Veteran of the US Army, assisted Mr. Topham.

Eagle Rank is the highest award in the Boy Scouts of America, and Ryan joins a host of past Troop 13 scouts in achieving this award. He graduated from Needham High School in 2017 and will attend the University of Maryland in the fall.
