The Needham Education Foundation (NEF) is now accepting large grant applications for funding up to $15,000. They can support one- or two-year programs and can benefit the entire school system, multiple schools, an entire school, or a distinct population within the system.
Past awards include Google Virtual Reality Expeditions Kits at High Rock, a portable planetarium for the Science Center, and funding for interdisciplinary learning pilot programs.
For two-year grants, applicants must re-apply to explain the need for a second year of funding (up to $15,000 for the second year, but approval is not guaranteed). Applications are due January 23, with award notification in late February and funds available in April.
