Jared Horgan, a 21 year old resident of Needham, was a top 10 finalist in the first ever Boston Idol contest.
The Boston Idol contest was hosted by WCVB Channel 5. Over 150 contestants sent in audition videos to the station as part of an open casting call to vie for the title and take their first step to becoming the next “American Idol.” All of the finalists received a front-of-the-line ticket for the American Idol Bus Tour.
