The Needham Board of Selectmen has announced that it is currently accepting applications for scholarships from Needham residents interested in attending Babson College in 2016-17.

Residents of all ages are eligible to apply for the scholarships, which are given from funds distributed by the school to the Town of Needham. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in any of Babson’s academic programs can apply.

The quantity and size of the scholarships will be determined by the Board of Selectmen and the Babson Financial Aid Office, based on need.

Applications can be found at www.needhamma.gov/Babson, in the Selectmen’s office at Town Hall (1471 Highland Ave.), the Needham Library, Needham High, or the Financial Aid Office at Babson College.

They must be completed and returned to the Board of Selectmen by Thursday, March 10. In addition, applicants must fill out a complete financial aid application at Babson.

For more information about the scholarship program, contact Director of Financial Aid Melissa Shaak at 781-239-4219.
