Longwood Opera’s production of Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel,” will be held on Friday, November 3, at 7:30 p.m. and on the afternoons of November 4 and 5 at 2:30 p.m. in Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Ave., Needham.
Directed by Scott Brumit with music direction by Jeffrey Brody and costumes by Charlotte Brumit, the opera will be fully staged and sung in English. The Charles River Ballet Academy will perform dance sequences, and local kids will take the roles of the Gingerbread Children.
Tickets are $23 for adults, $18 for seniors, $15 for students, and $13 for children 10 and under. Tickets will be available at the door, online at www.longwoodopera.org, or by calling (781-455-0960).
