“We Did It For You! Women’s Journey Through History” will be performed at the Norfolk Public Library (139 Main Street, Norfolk) on Saturday, November 18, at 7 p.m. Free tickets are available through Eventbrite.com, and include a reception after the show.
“We Did It For You!” is the story of how women got their rights in America, told by the women who were there. Covering over 400 years, it shares anecdotes from the lives of 20 characters and identifies the problems women have been up against on their road towards equality.
“With catchy musical numbers, a dash of comic relief, and a huge history lesson on feminism, ‘We Did It For You!’ received an immensely positive reception from the Medfield audience,” Hometown Weekly’s Laura Drinan wrote of the musical’s performance at Medfield’s First Parish on August 26.
