Teddy Larkin and the Haulers delight Zullo

On August 11th at 8 pm, the Zullo Art Gallery and Center for the Arts played host to Teddy Larkin and the Haulers. The band, featuring two Medfield High School alumni, showcased Teddy Larkin on guitar and vocals, along with Lawrence Howell on vocals and guitar, rekindling their connection with the audience. The remaining band members included Wynter Pingel on the fiddle, Rachel Nameika on guitar and vocals, Dan Styklunas on drums, and John Styklunas on bass.

The performance unfolded on the main floor of the art gallery, creating an intimate ambiance that fostered a profound connection with the audience. The show had completely sold out, intensifying the bond between the band and their enthusiastic audience. The art gallery thoughtfully offered a back patio, providing additional space and fresh air while maintaining clear sound projection of the band's performance.

Teddy Larkin and the Haulers showcased a repertoire of original songs penned by Teddy during his tenure in Nashville. The group exuded a distinctive folk-country sound, woven with nuances of alternative rock. The diversity in musical styles allowed each member to flaunt their individual talents. Harmonious melodies soared throughout the show, and each instrument received its spotlight moment.

In the midst of their performance, the band took a break to interact with the crowd, mingling and creating a sense of camaraderie. This gesture conveyed the band's genuine appreciation for their audience, culminating in an unforgettable evening for all attendees. The event celebrated hard work, heartfelt lyrics, and community spirit. The Zullo Art Gallery provided an intimate and inviting backdrop for the performance, even showcasing the works of several local artists for attendees to peruse during intermissions.
