There will be a special state primary election to replace State Senator James Timilty on Tuesday, September 19, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., at The Center on 1 Ice House Road in Medfield. All four Medfield precincts will report to The Center for voting.
The Democratic ballot will contain Paul R. Feeney and Edward R. Philips.
The Republican ballot will contain Michael C. Berry, Harry C. Brousaides, Tim Hempton, and Jacob J. Ventura.
Note that candidate Joe Shortsleeve, who is running as an independent, will be on neither ballot; as an independent candidate, he is not subject to the primary process. Shortsleeve will appear on the general election ballot on October 17.
