On Saturday, Dec. 12, Santa Claus paid a visit to Medfield to take photos with local children at the Pfaff Center on North St. Kids had hot chocolate, holiday snacks and a few minutes each with Santa.
More than 50 families attended the event and the fees were all donated to the Medfield Food Cupboard. Collection bins were overflowing with items donated by visiting families and $75 was also donated by generous residents.
The Park and Recreation Department expressed its thanks to the community for it support.
A notice from the department read, “We hope you enjoyed the morning with Santa and we are already looking forward to next year’s visit.”
