The Medfield Garden Club (MGC), a working and teaching club that welcomes new members with and without gardening experience, is continuing its mission to beautify the town.
Recently, new members Helen Beedy and Marcia Trahan have joined in the effort, adding to the ranks of more than 30 members who plant and maintain two dozen sites around town. These hard-working members share their time and talent year-round to curate the roadside gardens that the community so enjoys.
At the moment, the Club is in the process of renovating many of the sites, and has asked the community to "excuse their appearance" as they patiently wait for the cooler days of autumn that are more conducive to planting.
The Club also wished to thank Medfield’s Selectmen for their recent approval of funds to assist with renovating and maintaining the sites, and further thanks to Bobby Kennedy and the DPW crew for their assistance in all of the heavy lifting that goes along with keeping the sites looking their best.
